Wet Chemical
Wet Chemical Pre-Treatment Methods
Prepares your part for the highest corrosion protection standards with a new, special, 100% environmentally friendly pretreatment process.
Our Contribution to Environmental Protection
- LBV Powder Coatings do not contain any toxic heavy metals
- Free of solvents and therefore do not releases VOCs (volatile organic compounds) during coating or burn-in-process
LBV Powder also stands for Great Variety and a lot of Creative Freedom
- An enormous selection of surface structures, colors and effects can be realized
- Any color is possible, whether glossy, matt, metallic or satin
- Only a few people know that powder coatings have a color content of 100%, while in wet coatings this only accounts for around 30 to 60%, depending on the type of paint
Aesthetics and Functionality are Served Equally with LBV Powder Coating
- Powder-coated objects are not only beautiful to look at, the LBV coating process can also give them desired functional properties
- These can range from corrosion protection to easy cleaning to antibacterial protection
- Our powder coating also scores points in terms of appearance and feel: textures expand the design variety and a soft-touch coating ensures that the coated objects have a pleasant, soft feel
Advantages Over Normal (powder) Paints
- High chemical and mechanical resistance of the surfaces
- Excellent corrosion protection
- High, even layer thicknesses in one operation process
- Compensation for small irregularities in the surface
- Very low layer thicknesses for sanding coating
- Good edge coverage
- Extremely high material yield
- Very short coating times under 1 minute for a 1mm sheet
- Electrical insulation properties of the LBV powder-coated surfaces and the good electrical conduction properties
- High flexibility, powder coating can be used not only to coat metal, but also other materials, such as glass
- Thanks to technical progress, more and more new materials are being added, such as wood
- Visually appealing surfaces
- Good automation capability
- No primer required
- High UV resistance
Chrome Powder
Our LBV chrome mirroring process is compatible with the outdated chrome +6 process!
We have now perfected the technology to such an extent that it is now possible to achieve finishes with our high-gloss powder primer, our PK mirroring process and acrylic powder clear coat that are almost indistinguishable from galvanic chrome plating.
No more yellowing, no more dulling or blinding of the chrome effect. 100% chrome after applying the clear coat.
Main advantage: Extremely high mechanical resistance, extremely high adhesion and heat resistance up to 800°C.
Ceramic Coating
The oxides of various metals are generally referred to as ceramics. The most common ceramic coatings are aluminum oxide (Al2O3), chromium oxide (Cr2O3), titanium oxide (TiO2) and zirconium oxide (ZrO2).
They differ in various ways, such as temperature resistance, electrical conductivity, or acid and alkali resistance.
Our self-developed LBV PK coating combines all of these properties and creates a faster and cost-effective replacement surface also for PVD Surfaces.
